NADO Disability & Aged Care is a not for profit community-based charity that is committed to providing services and supports that respond to the needs and personal goals of people with disability, the frail and aged, their families and carers within the context of their home, work and community life across the Nepean Blue Mountains.
Volunteer Opportunity
As we experience growth in our Sensory Store, we are looking for a volunteer who is passionate about being part of and contributing towards a rewarding element of our Organisation. The Sensory Store provides a great range of quality sensory toys, educational tools, and therapy items to assist people of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with pick and packing of products.
- Accounting for incoming stock.
- Labelling and sorting of stock.
- Ensuring the sensory store is neat, organised, and fully stocked.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the customers.
Volunteer Requirements
- NDIS Workers Check
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is ideal, but not required as training will be provided.
- Genuine interest in sensory products and supporting individuals with a disability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
