8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday to Friday St Marys Head Office
9:00am to 3:00pm Saturdays for Programs

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader, Children’s Services to become a vital part of our dynamic and caring team. If you’re driven by purpose and thrive in environments that support and uplift others, this is your opportunity to lead with impact.

About the Role
The Team Leader will play a key role in coordinating and facilitating individualised and community-based group recreational activities for children and young people aged 7 to 17 with disability. This position aims to foster friendship, promote inclusion, and ensure participants enjoy safe and meaningful experiences tailored to their interests and support needs.

Demonstrated Skills & Experience 

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, with proven ability to lead teams
  • Previous experience and/or demonstrated knowledge in working with children
  • Understanding of Mandatory Reporting and Child Protection legislation and procedures
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently
  • Proficiency in computer-based programs, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Capacity to design and deliver suitable activities for children with varying disabilities
  • Outcome-focused and results-driven approach to program delivery
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to suit diverse audience
  • Strong written communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism
  • A Diploma and or Certificate of Early Childhood Education and/or have equivalent to
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current NSW Driver Licence
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
