NADO Disability & Aged Care is a community-based charity that is committed to providing services and supports that respond to the needs and personal goals of people with disability, the frail and aged, their families and carers within the context of their home, work and community life across the Nepean Blue Mountain region.

We believe our people are our greatest assets, therefore we are seeking a passionate and experienced People and Experience Coordinator join our team and continue to foster a positive, engaging, and supportive workplace.

The Role

The People and Culture Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the overall HR and employee experience.  The position will have a key focus on recruitment along with assisting in employee engagement, performance management, and training and development whilst maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interview coordination.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding to create a seamless experience for employees.
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, process payroll support tasks, and ensure compliance with policies and training.
  • Assist with the performance management processes, training and development programs.
  • Provide general HR support and act as a point of contact for employee inquiries.

The right fit will demonstrate the following:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent to
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR and or recruitment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet organisational needs.
  • Valid and cleared NDIS Worker Clearance
