NADO is a community-based charity that supports people with disabilities, their Families and Carers across the Nepean and Blue Mountain region.
The primary purpose of the Disability Support Worker (DSW) role will be to provide support that enables participants to meet their daily needs and goals, including social, recreational and skill development programs. DSW will work either within a team context or 1:1 support to provide consistent, high quality services that meet the identified needs and goals of Participants.
We are seeking applicants who can work any day of the week (Monday – Sunday) and includes day shifts, nights and sleepovers.
The successful candidate must have previous experience as a DSW within the disability sector. Experience and/or qualification within Mental Health is highly desirable. You will need to hold a current driver’s license, have a current NDIS Worker Check, current paid working with children’s check, valid first aid certificate with CPR and hold rights to work in Australia. You will be required to utilise your vehicle to transport Participants.
