The Role

The Customer Service Officer, Sensory Store will provide assistance to customers with inquiries, providing and uploading detailed product information, processing orders, stock control, sourcing new products and resolving any issues to ensure a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service acting as first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email and in-store
  • Offer product recommendations giving detailed explanations about sensory store items, including their benefits, usage and suitability for various needs
  • Accurate and timely processing of customer orders
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly in a professional positive manner
  • Conduct stock takes and monitor stock levels to ensure product availability
  • Stay up to date with the latest sensory products and trends, researching and sourcing new products

Key Requirements

  • You have previous experience in a customer service role
  • You can demonstrate excellent communication skills with a genuine commitment to providing high quality service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • NDIS Worker Check

Desirable Assets

  • Experience in e-commerce and digital platforms
  • Experience using WordPress
  • Experience using Retail POS systems – ie Lightspeed
