Share My Ability is a new and exciting Sensory Activity Centre that will be the first of its kind within the Nepean region. It will offer the local community a recreational space to play and learn in a safe and inclusive environment with interactive play equipment, support sessions, sensory room, retail products and an onsite café.
It is owned and operated by NADO (Nepean Area Disabilities Organisation), a registered NDIS Provider that has over 40 years of experience within the disability sector.
The Role
The Centre Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the centre, whilst promoting the services offered within Share My Ability. The role will provide leadership support, guidance and mentorship to your team to ensure the programs are being delivered to a high standard of quality customer service. You will be responsible for creating bookings, rostering staff and overseeing a small team.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate at least 2 years leadership experience, preferably within the disability or retail space, accompanied with a relevant qualification in leadership, community welfare and/or a related discipline.
The ideal applicant will have a can-do attitude and the ability to influence, inspire, motivate to get the best out of your team and the programs. Working within the community industry would be adventurous along with a cleared NDIS Worker Clearance.
