At NADO Disability & Aged Care, community connection is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were proud to be part of this year’s Nepean Disability Expo – one of Western Sydney’s largest and most inclusive events showcasing NDIS support, services, and innovation for people with disability and their families/carers.
Held over two days at the Penrith Valley Regional Sports, the expo brought together a diverse range of NDIS providers, advocacy groups, and community organisations, all under the one roof. It was a fantastic opportunity for attendees of the expo to ask questions, discover supports, and connect with services that align with their specific needs, goals, and lifestyle.
Our friendly team were thrilled to be a part of this bi-annual disability event, proudly showcasing the many ways we support NDIS participants of all ages and abilities by providing a range of products and services. With an inviting and engaging stall setup, our space was welcoming, inclusive, and interactive – a true reflection of the NADO team spirit.
Throughout the two days, our knowledgeable and passionate staff were on hand to answer questions, provide guidance, and have meaningful conversations with attendees. We had a steady stream of visitors curious to learn more about the broad range of NDIS supports and services we offer across the Nepean Blue Mountain region. This included:
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Short-Term Accommodation (Respite)
Community Day Programs
Children’s Services
1:1 Support with Team You
Social Activity Groups
CHSP Aged Care Services
From reconnecting with long-time supporters to meeting new families, service providers, and allied health professionals, the expo was a fantastic reminder of why events like this matter. Our presence wasn’t just about promoting services – it was about creating conversations, building trust, and reinforcing our ongoing commitment to empowering people with disability.
However, we weren’t just there as a disability service provider – our sister brands also joined us at the Nepean Disability Expo, showcasing the broader support that NADO offers through the Sensory Store, Peasy Plan Management and Share My Ability.
The Sensory Store offered attendees a fantastic selection of sensory toys, support tools, and therapeutic resources for all ages and abilities – available for purchase on the day or online. The Peasy Plan Management team was there to answer questions and provide guidance on how to manage NDIS plans with ease and clarity. Meanwhile, Share My Ability, our Penrith-based sensory activity centre, invited attendees to enjoy an immersive VR experience – a huge hit, especially with teens!
Thank You
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, ask questions, or share their story. Events like these remind us of the incredible strength, diversity, and spirit within our community – we’re already looking forward to the next one!
