Everyone enjoys different things, which is why NADO offers three unique social groups. Whether you love getting out and about, meeting new people or trying something different, there's a group for you. You'll enjoy fun activities, great experiences and plenty of laughs along the way!

Our social groups are all about bringing people together. With supportive staff and a welcoming atmosphere, you'll have the chance to build friendships, grow your confidence and create lasting memories.

The Weekend Crew with NADO

Looking for a more relaxing way to spend your Saturdays? The NADO Weekend Crew offers small, welcoming groups for men and women who enjoy social outings and connecting with others through shared interests.

Everyone enjoys socialising in different ways. That’s why we’ve created three unique social groups, each designed to suit different ages, interests and social styles for NDIS Particpants across Western Sydney.

Whether you’re looking for exciting adventures, relaxed community outings or a smaller Saturday group, there’s a welcoming place where you can make new friends, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences.

Every group is supported by our experienced team and provides opportunities to explore your community, try new things and create lasting memories in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.

Every activity is supported by our friendly and experienced team, ensuring everyone has a safe, enjoyable and inclusive experience.

NADO Social Groups are designed for adults with disability aged 18 years and over who have an active NDIS plan. With three different groups available, there’s an option to suit different ages, interests and social styles.

We offer three unique social groups to suit different interests and age groups:

NextGenz Social Club
For young adults aged 18 – 30 who enjoy exciting outings and new adventures.

NADO Social Collective 
For adults aged 30+ who enjoy building friendships and sharing new experiences.

The Weekend Crew
Smaller Men’s and Ladies groups that meet on Saturdays for relaxed, community-based activities.

Every activity guide is packed with exciting experiences, from bowling and sporting events to concerts, markets, dining out, museums, zoos, festivals and much more.

We love hearing from our participants and regularly ask for their ideas and suggestions, so many of our activities are inspired by the people who attend. It’s all about creating fun, meaningful experiences that everyone can enjoy together.

Our social groups enjoy activities throughout Penrith, Western Sydney and surrounding areas. Depending on the activity, outings may include local attractions, community events and destinations across the region.

Yes. Every activity is supported by our experienced, friendly team who are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone can participate with confidence.

Activity costs cover transport, entrance fees or event tickets and are paid by the participant. Supports for each activity are billed separately to the NDIS and come out of a participant’s NDIS plan.  

Each activity will have a list of items to bring, depending on where you will be going and what you will be doing. Please always bring your ID and companion card to each activity.  

For all day-time activities please bring a hat, sunscreen, water bottle and money for activity and lunch. For all night-time activities please bring money for dinner.

Yes. Eligible participants can use their NDIS funding to access NADO Social Groups where it aligns with their plan and goals. If you’re unsure, our team can help you understand your options.

No. You don’t need to be a current NADO participant to join one of our social groups.
