We were both thrilled and delighted to have held our 6th Annual Friends of NADO Charity Golf Day on Friday March 22nd 2024 at the picturesque Lynwood Golf and Country Club.
This year, with help from our major sponsoring partner, Elite Sand and Soil, we attracted 27 Sponsorships, as well as individual teams, bringing the event to full capacity.
Beyond the sport, the Friends of NADO Charity Golf Day serves as a platform for networking and relationship-building, fostering connections among donors, sponsors, and supporters in a relaxed environment.
A special commendation is due to the esteemed Master of Ceremonies, Troy Kennedy, whose engaging presence contributed significantly to the event’s success. It is heartening to note the consistent support of our longstanding sponsors, including Reozone, ABCOE, Evergreen Turf, Allotrac, Gallagher, and Mack Truck/VCV Australia, whose continued participation since 2018 highlights their commitment to our cause.
Fundraising remains paramount to our organisation’s mission, enabling us to enhance our facilities, procure accessible vehicles, and host special events that cater to the diverse needs of our community. The proceeds generated through entry fees, sponsorships, auctions, and donations contribute directly to these vital initiatives.
We are proud to announce that the funds raised from this year’s charity event will facilitate the acquisition of a new Toyota HiAce, specially fitted out to meet the transport requirements of individuals with disability in the Nepean community.
Every business and participant who supported our Friends of NADO Golf Day 2024 has contributed to making the Nepean a more accessible community through the work of NADO Disability Services.
